Everton 2019/20 Premier League: When Toffees play Merseyside Derby & More

After a disappointing start to the season in the 2018/19 season, Everton finished the campaign in strength, scoring 17 points out of a total of 17, including 17 wins, including wins over Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United and a draw with Tottenham the last day.

Marco Silva will look to take this form in the new season and a match of the first day against Crystal Palace could start well, with six weeks of play without facing the first six opponents.

The Toffees will host Manchester City at home at the end of September, before a good run in October ends with Tottenham's visit on Nov. 2. Their good fortune ends however at the worst possible time, while the holiday season is very hectic.

December brings the gift of four monster clashes in a row with the back leg of the Merseyside derby procedure. Then come the meetings between Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal before Christmas Day.

Silva's men are not yet out of trouble after this series of matches, as a New Year's trip to Etihad is followed by a return match against Arsenal and Man Utd in February. Mars begins with a draw against Chelsea before the second Merseyside derby of the season, which will take place the following week.

A trip to the new White Hart Lane takes place in April, before a relatively comfortable second leg that ends with Bournemouth's visit on the last day of the Premier League season.
