Juventus has reached an agreement in principle on Maurizio Sarri joining the club, but will have to pay compensation to Chelsea.

After weeks of speculation and links with personalities such as Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino, British and Italian reports suggest that Sarri will be Juve's next coach.

Sky Sport Italia reports that an agreement has been reached for Sarri to be released from his contract with Chelsea and an announcement could be made within the next 24 hours.

The BBC report goes in the same direction according to which an agreement in principle has been concluded and the Bianconeri will have to pay 5 million pounds in compensation to the Blues.

The Guardian, The Telegraph, SportItalia and a number of others report pretty much the same thing. Sarri is expected to sign a three-year contract to coach Juventus.

The stalemate over the compensation being over, an official announcement of the club could be announced tomorrow while Sarri could be presented as a new coach next week.
