An excerpt from Kanye West's new track "Brothers" was released. The song sounds a new trailer for the second season of BET drama Tales.
The minute trailer begins with a breath of the past: Audio of comedian DeRay Davis screaming "Mr. West!", As we heard on "Wake Up Mr. West" from rapper's 2005 album, "Late Registration ".
The excerpt from "Brothers," which then plays, features a Western song, not a rap, on a single drum beat. "We will be brothers forever, forever," he says. "What happens to one of us happens together, together." Listen to it below:
The song, People Charlie Wilson and was co-produced by Irv "Gotti" Lorenzo, who is the creator of Tales. It will be featured in the first episode of season 2 of the show on July 2 and will be part of the soundtrack of the series. It is unclear if the song will appear on 'Yandhi', West's next album, which has been delayed several times.
"Brothers" will be West's first release since his album "Ye" in 2018, although he has appeared on many other songs as a guest, notably "Puppet" by Tyler, the creator, " YNW Melly's "Mixed Personalities" and "I Love C" is by Lil Pump.West has recently premiered a new song, "Water," while performing Sunday's Coachella service.
