The rescue of the kidnapped Canadian girls was a topic treated after the success of the operation. Police arrested three Nigerians and five Ghanaians as suspects.

Last comment on this report, the Ghanaian rapper, Mr.anifest, who believes that the media have been irresponsible by quickly projecting that Nigerians are blamed in the crime that also involves Ghanaians.

According to the rapper "Nowhere Cool", Ghanaians complain that criminal cases are taking place abroad and that the foreign press considers Africans to be the perpetrators of the crime. The media should do better.

"It is irresponsible for the Ghanaian media to point the finger at Nigerians about crime in Ghana, even when Ghanaians are also involved," he wrote on social media.
