Frank Lampard is believed to be on Chelsea's radar
Lampard is extremely popular in Derby after leading it to the championship playoffs final in his first season as a manager.
When asked who the Rams fan and former One Direction singer would like to replace Lampard, Horan told talkSPORT: "Big Sam is free, I would not mind! It could get us out of a few problems.
"I do not know, you want somebody new, we have a young team with a good mix of young and old [players].

"It would be a shame to lose it, but I would like someone to be retried."
Allardyce has been unemployed since being sacked by Everton last May.
The former English coach has already been promoted in the Premier League with Bolton and West Ham.
The reports tied Charlton manager Lee Bowyer to the Derby post if Lampard left for Chelsea.
The 42-year-old's reputation is growing after the end of the three-year exile of the Championship Addicks in his first full season as a manager.
