Harambee stars ready to face DRC

France's Sebastien Migne and his Congolese counterpart Florent Imbenge are struggling to find their balance on Saturday night as Kenya faces the Democratic Republic of Congo in their last training match before the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

In this match, Imbenge and Migne will have to choose between asking a winning performance to their boys or to restrain themselves, as a precaution, to prevent their players from getting injured before the tournament.

Migne has made it clear that he will take a safety approach, but everyone knows that victory will be of great concern to Harambee Stars supporters as it will inevitably be seen as a precursor to the Afcon team's performance.

"I do not really like to change my team, but I do not have the choice because the defense lacks good players, because of that, I'm going to have to do something very difficult: try to win but of course avoid injuries before Afcon, "he said.

Indeed, Migne is facing a selection puzzler in the defense department, while central defender Brian Mandela has already been sent home after a training injury in France.

Musa Mohammed, the other reliable defender in this position, is also questionable since he is currently nursing a painful hamstring. This further complicates Migne's options.
