It is believed that the Civil Guard did not arrest anyone.
Earlier this week, Monday, an easyJet flight to London Gatwick Airport was forced to return to Gran Canaria, after a pbadenger reportedly attacked another traveler.
The pilot reportedly asked the Spanish police to meet the easyJet aircraft upon his arrival.
A spokesman for EasyJet said: "easyJet can confirm that the EZY8692 flight from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to London Gatwick on June 10 has returned from the airport to Las Airport. Palmas Gran Canaria.

"Although such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behavior on board.
