President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
President Nana Akufo-Addo will be in Jamaica today on Saturday for a two-day official working visit.
Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to participate in key activities, including a visit to the Seville Grand House and Heritage Park in St Ann.
The President's visit is part of his working visit to five Caribbean countries to promote "the year of return".
Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness will meet with President Akufo-Addo at Jamaica House after which they will address the media.
On Sunday, President Akufo-Addo will meet the leaders of the University of the West Indies to give a floral tribute to the sanctuary of the national hero, Marcus Mosiah Garvey.
He is expected to complete his tour later at the opening of the 8th biennial conference of the Jamaican Diaspora at the Jamaica Conference Center.

The countries that the President has already visited are Guyana, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados.
The Ghanaian delegation includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, and the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng Gyasi, among others.
The events of "the year of return" are aimed above all at consolidating relations with the descendants of Africa, residents of the Americas and the Caribbean, who have been defined as the sixth region of the African Union. .
The president will return to Ghana on Monday, June 17, 2019.
