Elections would follow the special conference of the party's regional delegates on Sunday, June 16.
A total of 13 candidates vie for various leadership positions at the National Democratic Congress (NEC) in the Volta region.
Messrs. Francis Ganyaglo and Henry Ametefe, both former deputy regional ministers of the Volta under John Mahama, and Professor John Atta Mills, are among the three leaders of the regional presidency.
The third person is Frank Afriyie, coach in governance and leadership.
George Loh, a former Member of Parliament for the North Dayi constituency, is also one of five MPs who call for the vote of delegates for the position of Vice-President.
About 600 delegates are expected to vote.
Kafui Agleze, regional director of communications, whose post will not be disputed, told the Ghana news agency that everything was in place for the elections and that the candidates had expressed their satisfaction for the process. .
Three women are among the aspirants; two candidates for the post of badistant regional organizer of women and one in the youth badistant organizer race.
