New Delhi, June 16 (ANI): Just one day after posting a child-friendly Echo Dot, Amazon was allegedly slapped by two clbad action lawsuits for Alexa, her voice-activated badistant, accused of recording and storing the children's voices. According to the New York Post, the lawsuits filed on behalf of an 8-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl allege that Alexa's voice recording and transcription technology makes children vulnerable because it allows Amazon to access a significant amount of data about the child's life, all without consent. Meanwhile, Amazon pointed out that it has put in place strict guidelines to protect the security and privacy of the family. One of the lawsuits claims damages of up to $ 100 a day, while the other claims $ 5,000 in damages per violation.
