In this article, I will review the 4 real reasons to buy a Tesla. now. The fifth is just that they are fun to drive and who wants to wait? In summary, these 4 reasons are:

  1. The US electric vehicle tax credit will be halved on July 1.
  2. Free and unlimited supercharging for S and X model cars without the Raven upgrade ends June 30th.
  3. The free, fun upgrade for existing owners who want to upgrade to a recently updated X or S model can end at any time.
  4. The prices of self-driving are rising.

Reduction of future tax credit

The US federal tax credit for tax payers of $ 3,750 (single people need more than $ 45,000, married people over $ 60,000, consult your tax advisor) is reduced half ($ 1,875) on July 1. Tesla says it's not the price cut that offsets the lower credit this time.

In any event, the company plans to send the bulk of production from July and August abroad to try to cope with the large order book recorded in this country, especially in the right-hand drive type markets that have been waiting for Model 3 for three years.

Also, check out this article for more details on the incentives of large states. I knew California had good motives, but many do not know other states. In addition to the discounts granted by these 8 states, the following states offer less significant benefits, such as reduced taxes, support for charging, reduced rates for electricity, or access to carpooling:

  • Arizona
  • Florida
  • Georgia
  • Hawaii
  • Idaho
  • Illinois
  • Indiana
  • Louisiana
  • Minnesota
  • Nevada
  • New Jersey
  • North Carolina
  • Oregon
  • Pennsylvania
  • Rhode Island
  • Texas
  • Utah
  • Washington DC
  • Wisconsin

The Tesla Incentives page and the Plug In America page for incentives for electric vehicles are two great resources for further research on this topic.

Unlimited free overcharging

If you're more interested in free overeating and get the lowest price compared to the last update, you might get a great deal on an S or X model inventory for you. Take a look at Tesla's car inventory here. Note that sometimes this link does not seem to work and you should contact local Tesla stores to find the current inventory.

You can also now find 3 models used in your Tesla inventory, but apparently not yet outside of California.

Tesla's picture

When Tesla announced the new Raven upgrade, I noticed that the company was offering an extra kick to existing S and X owners. For the thousands of existing homeowners who love their S or X but who just need a little boost to improve, what a great way to thank them for their support and also encourage them to get a new model so that someone else can enjoy their exchange. This is a great way to attract new people to the electric vehicle market. If they get more exchanges, this reduces the bar for people to buy a Tesla.

Anyone who looks at Tesla this year knows that the company changes its prices quite often and often without notice. One thing I learned is that if there is an offer that meets your needs or wants, you must get it as long as it is available. Several desirable cars, such as the Model 3 Mid Range and the Long Range Rear Drive, have come and gone over time. Sometimes they come back later; sometimes they do not do it. Tesla has not announced the offer, but does not always announce future price changes.

"Fully autonomous" pricing will increase

It seems that whenever Elon has spoken at an event in recent months, he stressed that Tesla cars were a valuable badet. What is he talking about? It means that the more fully autonomous driving features are available, the more the price of fully autonomous driving upgrade will increase. The demand for new and used cars will also increase as people claim a car they can use to make money when they do not use it.

With Enhanced Summon to select some early-access attendees last week, will Tesla increase its prices after the release of this stunning feature? I do not know, but if you can afford the upgrade, I will not take the risk.

Conclusion

I gave you 5 reasons to buy a Tesla now, but we have written much more on our site about the reasons to buy a Tesla. Some of my favorite items on this cover are unparalleled safety, an incredible path to total self-driving, this article showing just how affordable a model 3 is, and a clbadic inspired by Paul Simon giving you 30 reasons for which your next car should be an electric vehicle!
