Nana Asokwa Danka-Gyeabour II, head of the Ejisu Municipality in the Ashanti region, commended the NPP government for its bold decision to implement the Free High School High School program the first year.
He also urged the government to do everything in its power to keep this program commendable.
Nana Danka-Gyebour, who made this recommendation in an interview with the Ghanaian news agency in Onwe, explained that it was necessary to congratulate the government for keeping the promise of a mega campaign.
He said that the fact that the government did not wait for the implementation of the promise during campaigns for other elections was commendable.
He said the free high school program was one of the best and most popular educational programs ever implemented by the Ghana government because it required a lot of capital.
Nana Danka-Gyebour, called on school authorities and teachers to do their best to make the program a success, and urged parents whose wards were the beneficiaries of the program to support it by providing their basic needs.
He also urged entrepreneurs and suppliers to be honest in their activities while avoiding corruption.
