The launch was overseen by Shatta Wale's father, Charles Nii Akramah Mensah, but a group of people supporting Nii Kwashie Gborlor IV, chief of Ngleshie Amanfrom.

It was in their attempt to prevent Shatta's father from making such badertions and to stop the launch of the faction that Nii Kwashie's faction spoiled the event leading to a chaotic situation.

According to information reported by YEN.com.gh on Citinnewsroom, the event took a bloody turn after the leader's faction reportedly attacked members of the Shatta camp, claiming that Wale's father was not allowed to present as the leader of the region.

It took the intervention of Ghanaian police officials in the area to disperse the crowd and bring calm to the scene.

The pictures of the scene show armchairs and canopies for the event, all shorn because of the altercation.

Addressing Citi News, Nii Kwashie said that Shatta Wale's father's stance was hostile to customs, which is why he will use the appropriate means to oppose his actions.

"He claims to be the guardian of the region. So, he tells people that he is about to launch the fan club, but that is a lie. We will not sit down to make that happen. As an official leader, I will abide by the law so that it does not happen. I respect the law. We delivered a letter to the police and informed national security. "

Shatta Wale was not present at the time of the incident, but some of his activists were seen during the launch.
