It's out of the question for Aguero and me to leave – Jesus cancels the Manchester City speech

Gabriel Jesus insists that there is no chance that he and his partner, Sergio Aguero, will leave Manchester City before next season. The Brazilian international, who is currently absent on duty from Copa America, was limited to just eight Premier League debuts in 2018-19 due to Aguero's goal form.

This led to speculation last month suggesting that City is ready to unload Jesus during the closing season to raise money to bring in other players. But the 22 year old sees his future at Etihad stadium and insists that he respects Aguero's status within the club, which has forced him to settle for a substitute role.

"He's a club legend – he's the top scorer [of all time]" he told the Daily Mail. "As a player, I always want to play, but I'm happy to help and I respect Sergio. "I think it's out of the question that Aguero is going away, and so am I."
