Harry Maguire "was informed that he could expect a five-year contract worth £ 350,000 a week" to Manchester United, according to an article in The Sun.
The Old Trafford club would be ready to face the valuation of the English defender of the city of Leicester City, worth 80 million pounds sterling, and Maguire would be in a hurry to leave.
Reports suggest that he would prefer a move to Manchester City, which would bring football in the Champions League and trophies, but it's United that will pay the world record fees for a defender.
According to The Sun: "The Executive Vice President of Manchester United will stop at nothing to win the central defender of England – he was told he could expect a five-year contract worth 350 £ 000 per week. "
This salary would instantly make Maguire one of the most generous players in English football and place him behind the only Alexis Sanchez at Manchester United.
It seems that United could propose one of the unwanted central backers under the deal, but that did not work with West Ham and a movement reported for Issa Diop.
