Paul Pogba has publicly admitted for the first time that he wanted to leave Manchester United this summer.
Addressing reporters in Tokyo, the Red Devils midfielder said that "could be a good time to meet a new challenge".
Pogba continues to be tied to an exit from Old Trafford after a tumultuous campaign for the Frenchman in the last term.
He scrambled with his boss, Jose Mourinho, before the Portuguese were demobilized in December, before a shake-out after returning to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's club.
But his performances fell again towards the end of the season, Real Madrid wishing to take him to Bernabeu.
Juventus have also been badociated with signing Pogba for the second time, but the real boss Zinedine Zidane is desperate to seal the deal.
"As you said, there is a lot of discussion and reflection," said Pogba, 26.
"For me, I've been in Manchester for three years and I'm fine. good times and bad times, like everyone else. Like everywhere else.
"After this season and all that has happened this season, my season is also my best season … I think it could be a good time to take on a new challenge elsewhere.
"I'm thinking of this: having a new challenge elsewhere."
Pogba joined United for the second time in a transaction worth £ 89.3 million in August 2016.
He scored 24 times in 92 games with the club and was the only player outside of Manchester City and Liverpool to be named in the PFA Premier League team of the year in 2018-19.
