Chris Hemsworth is Thor for a while
Chris Hemsworth has been hammering Thor for almost a decade. Although it did not start his career, it certainly helped propel him into the superstar. He has won fans around the world by being part of the Marvel Universe.
Playing Thor also helped make him the most recognizable of the three Hemsworth brothers, one thing we are sure he raises at every family reunion.
Many actors who play the same role for a long time fear being labeled. That's probably why many of his Marvel co-stars have decided to leave the ship. Hemsworth, on the other hand, might not feel the same way. Of course, playing a god is not something that many actors can add to their resume.
Does Chris Hemsworth want to resume his role as Thor?
During his interview, Chris Hemsworth spoke of his iconic role and stated that he would like to see it continue.
"I'd always like to do more, to be honest," Hemsworth explained in an interview. "I feel we have opened such a different character. I feel more stimulated by the possibility of knowing where he could go. He said that if that did not happen, he could live with it. But [if not] I will use it in other places and with other characters if it's the end here. "
He also talked about the difficulty of two films from the franchise. He said that he felt trapped because the character was not deep enough.
"After finishing Avengers and Thor 2I felt a little trapped. It was as if I had been cataloged by the one who was writing the scripts, "he admitted. "I feel that creators were stuck where they could take [Thor] and was it all he had to offer? I felt that there was so much more we could do. "
What does the future hold for Thor?
For the moment, we do not know if Chris Hemsworth will succeed or if the creators are done with the Thor franchise. It seems after Avengers: End of the game that there is at least one possibility for another independent film. Taika Waititi, Thor: Ragnarok director, seems to be on board too.
We can expect to see Thor again with the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise. For the moment, there is no official word, but fans and several media have talked about his appearance in the next film.
With regard to Hemsworth get another Thor movie, it would probably be put in another scenario or another reality. Not only is Hollywood asking for a lot of scripts on the multiverse right now, but this seems to be the only credible way to write the script, depending on who will be in the movie.
