Behind the scenes, the marriage between Charles and Diana was not what it seemed. The prince had a secret affair with an old flame.

Charles met Camilla Parker Bowles in 1971 when the pair was introduced by a mutual friend. The two quickly began to see each other. But that ended when Charles joined the Navy and Camilla married another man.

As we know, the relationship between Charles and Camilla did not end simply because she married. The two started an affair shortly after her marriage. A few years later, Charles met and married Diana Spencer.

But again, the marriage of Charles and Diana did not separate Camilla and Charles from the union. They resumed their affair in 1986. Eventually, after the affair became too difficult to bear, Charles's Diana divorca in 1992. Although Diana was aware for a long time, the public would not learn the outrageous details before the Next year.

Princess Diana had a special nickname for her husband's mistress

It is hard to imagine bitter remarks from the deceased princess, but it is quite understandable that Diana did not like her husband's mistress. In an interview now infamous, the princess revealed that she knew the bond of her husband for quite a long time. She pointed out that the marriage had been badly tainted by this case: "Well, there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a little crowded." On another occasion, she recounted that she had confronted Camilla and told her to stop treating her like an idiot.

The pain that Diana was experiencing was obvious. The public would later learn how much the princess was struggling. But Diana had her way out and one of them had a surprisingly nasty nickname for Camilla. According to a close friend of Diana, the princess described the current Duchess as Rottweiler.

The meaning behind the name was twofold. First, it was a direct hit in Camilla's physical appearance. Diana told her friend that she "looked like a dog". Secondly, Rottweiler seemed to agree because "… once she has had the taste of someone, she does not let go of him anymore."
