While Usain Bolt's incursion into football did not fit into a professional contract, the sprinter clearly learned a thing or two during his trial with the Australian Central Coast Mariners team.
The 32-year-old put his name on Soccer Aid's match sheet Sunday night, inspiring his comeback from the rest of the world to a win over an Englishman.
After freestyle footballer Jeremy Lynch gave Britain a 2-0 lead in the first period, Bolt capitalized on a mistake by former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher just before the break to give his team hope for a return.

Love Island star Kem Cetinay would eventually score a tying goal for Bolt, who was nervous in a penalty shootout to win.
More than 6 million pounds were raised for charity after the match. A Jamaican sprinter has regained the taste of football.
Besides Bolt, legendary Manchester United player Eric Cantona, Brazilian icon Roberto Carlos and actor James McAvoy also participated in the match.
Piers Morgan was managing the rest of the world, while Harry Redknapp was in the dugout for England.
Soccer Aid has been operational since 2006 and has raised more than £ 20 million for UNICEF.
While Bolt no longer pursues his dream of football, he recently appeared before his dear Manchester United, saying that the Red Devils should form a team around Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann.
"Pogba is a friend of mine and I'm a big fan of him, I think they have to form a team around him," Bolt said.

"When you watch him at Juventus and when he plays for France, he is remarkable because he has good forwards and players to play and run the ball he needs as a great smuggler.
"No matter how one gets a haircut, as long as it comes on the ground, it shows up.
"If you build the team around him and give him forwards who understand how he plays, then he'll be fine."
