The Egyptian team began its final preparations for the Nations Cup with a friendly match against Tanzania at the Borg El-Arab stadium in Alexandria on Thursday, winning 1-0.
Another friendly against Guinea should be played on Sunday. Egypt was in Group A of the African Cup of Nations with DR Congo, Uganda and Zimbabwe. They will launch the tournament against Zimbabwe on June 21st.
