Coach Kwesi Appiah asks for support before meeting in Tunisia

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah implored fans to resume football before Monday's meeting against Tunisia.

The four-time African champions are waiting to take their place in the quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations by beating Tunisia in the round of 16 on Monday.

And according to the 54-year-old player, the team will need mbadive support from Ghanaians to carry out this task.

"The most important thing is to think of the game of Tunisia now so that we beg all Ghanaians to continue supporting the team with a positive spirit."

"My team is prepared both mentally and physically for Monday's game."

"All our spirit is on the match against Tunisia because we have to win the game on Monday so we can think of other opponents"

"Every team in the tournament is well prepared and ready to win the trophy, so we do not underestimate any opponents we meet in the tournament," he added.

The knockout stage against Tunisia will start Monday, July 8 at the Ismailia stadium.
