Catherine Ablema Afeku, Minister of State at the Office of the Presidency, has launched a pbadionate appeal to Ghanaians in the diaspora for them to return to their home country.

In her address this year at the Ghana Diaspora and Reunion Summit at the Accra International Conference Center, she said: "All the debates we have held over the last three days are aimed at consolidating our based. According to her, the disarray of Ghanaians living abroad to return to the country is being resolved, adding that measures are also put in place to ensure the free movement of people.

His comments support what President Akufo-Addo said at the opening ceremony of the diaspora summit.

The president hinted that the government plans to introduce a bill in the near future that would allow Ghanaians with dual citizenship to hold public office.

She added that the promise of President Akufo-Addo would soon become a reality, because he had the diaspora at heart.

However, they have been asked to invest their skills and money in the development of the country.

She said, "Let me take this opportunity to invite you, those of you who are gathered here, at home and abroad, to look at home, to turn to Ghana for investment. your skills, your network and your finances in the center of innovation and companies that have to do with tourism, the arts, … "
