People love Maura Higgins, the candidate of Irish Love Island, since her appearance in the series and even some well-known celebrities have expressed their approval.
The Longford native has become an instant hit since appearing in the series last month and has been one of the most prominent islanders.
It was recently revealed to actress and Hollywood actress Amy Schumer that she was a big fan of the model.
In a video message broadcast Sunday afternoon in AfterSun, Schumer said, "I love this season of Love Island.
"I want to give a shout to Maura, she's like my friend, I feel very connected with her."
Schumer is not the only Hollywood celebrity to be a big fan of Maura as a star and creator of the hit TV series Girls, Lena Dunham has recently turned to her Twitter to share her support for Islander .
The actress shared a hilarious montage of the director by Irish actress Aisling Bea and she revealed that she is related to the hilarious 28-year-old girl.
In her tweet, she said: "For all the British who fool @LoveIsland like me, like Maura, I want a partner who lives up to me, not a coward who thinks I'm OTT, Cringey and a caring researcher .!
