More than 1,000 CBG agents defend healthy lives through a health walk

Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), as part of the activities marking the launch of its slogan "We are with you" organized a national health march on Saturday, July 6, 2019 to promote a healthy lifestyle among its staff.

The march, which took place simultaneously in Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale, brought together more than 1,000 staff and management from across the country.

The Accra edition started from three points – Accra Girls, Labadi and Osu – and ended at the Burmese camp sports complex, while Kumasi, Takoradi and Tamale started at the Amakom Children's Park, Market Circle and Tamale Main, respectively.

CBG Executive Director Daniel Wilson Addo said the walk was aimed at educating staff about good health and spreading BCG's message across the country.

"Today, we are walking together as a brand to promote good health among the staff. At CBG, we believe in a strong workforce to serve our customers. To be able to offer a simple, secure and differentiated banking solution, we want to make sure the staff are energetic, healthy and happy to give their best, "he said.

In congratulating all the staff members for their participation and energy, the CBG MD Group stated that he was confident and that the team of this group was confident in his hard work in order to become the bank the most trustworthy.

After the walk, participants took part in fun activities such as aerobics, health talks, volleyball, football, basketball, swimming, dance competitions and musical chairs.

Sports are known for bringing people together and it was no different for CBG, the event was an opportunity to bring staff from all over the country together in an outstanding sporting spirit for the good cause that carries the message "We are by your side".
