Custom versions of the RX 5700 and 5700 XT will arrive in August, AMD

The hardware market is very active and after the launch of Nvidia's custom GPUs, AMD unveiled information on the partner versions of the Radeon RX 5700 Navi video cards.

After rumors that partner versions of the new material would arrive next month, a Reddit publication confirmed that RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT arrive in August.

Scott Herkelman, brand manager at AMD, launched a discussion on the forum and revealed that custom GPUs arrive in the middle of next month, but without giving a specific date for the launch. The information came with a positioning regarding the design reviews of the standard versions of the RX 5700 cards, which provide a fan for cooling.

Cooling design is an important part of video cards because it is a factor related to heat dissipation and can lead to performance and noise drops. In his publication on Reddit, the AMD manager stated that he listened to user reviews regarding the use of a fan in the reference version and that he wanted to propose Custom template badyzes before new products arrive on the shelves to help consumers.

News to come?

The information provided by Scott Herkelman goes against the rumors published by Andreas Schilling, editor of Hardwareluxx.de, who revealed the month of the publication of custom-designed GPUs yesterday.

In addition to touching the launch window, Schilling also stated that he already had some information and even images of some custom templates. In other words, some foreign websites may soon be receiving the RX 5700 and RX 5700 partner editions.
