Federer has won more Grand Slam singles than any other player with 20.
It's two more than Rafael Nadal and four ahead of current world No. 1 Novak Djokovic.
However, Becker does not claim that Federer is ahead of his big rivals of tennis.
He claims that the Swiss legend is also more popular than superstar footballers Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and basketball player LeBron James.

"He has been around so long, he has done so well and he speaks so many languages.
"He speaks English with you, German with me, Swiss, Italian and French.
"I think that adds to Roger Federer's image."
Becker was speaking ahead of Federer's quarterfinal clash with Kei Nishikori at Wimbledon on Wednesday.
And he baderted that the 37 – year – old player looked more fit than he 'd been for a while at SW19.
"We always remember the eight titles he won here, but he played very well this year," said Becker.
"I think it's important for his chances before the championship.
"He won the warm-up tournament in Halle, he played the season on clay, he played in the semi-final [at the French Open], finally losing against Nadal.
"But he's kept fit, maybe even more fit than he's been in the last two years.
"There is no other reason for him to play than to love him.
"He proved to everyone, to himself, that he was potentially the best of all time – he did it for so long."
