Earlier this summer, Pogba announced that he wanted to take on a new challenge and his agent, Mino Raiola, reiterated his desire to leave Manchester United last week.

But the price and wages of Pogba make any potential transaction difficult.

Nevertheless, Real Madrid and Juventus would like to nominate the winner of the World Cup of France if an agreement could be concluded.

Nadal is a big fan of Madrid and, after reaching the semifinals of Wimbledon, he was questioned about the possibility that the Old Trafford star will move to Bernabeu this summer.

And the twelfth Roland-Garros champion has warned his favorite team.

"Pogba is an excellent player," he told reporters.

"Sometimes the money is crazy, so I do not want something that, in my opinion, is exaggerated in terms of money – that's all."

Pogba is currently touring United's preseason in Australia and Ole manager Gunnar Solskjaer has been hurrying on the future of the midfielder at a press conference today.

And the Norwegian made it clear that he was determined to keep control of Pogba and insisted that no offer had been made.

"I've talked to Paul and most players and, as far as I know, we have no offers for our players, so," he said.

"Paul never left the team, he always wanted to play and he always gave the best of himself. Paul has never been a concern to me. When he is on the ground, he works hard, a real professional, a proud boy.

"We have a few years left on his contract and he was fantastic when he came back to training.

"The agents are talking all the time and, as I said, we have not received any offers from the clubs, that's all I can say about it.

"As long as they are here, the players are professionals, they work and as long as they work here and give everything they have, agents and everyone can talk."

Solskjaer then hit on inaccurate reports that Pogba had clashed with teammate Jesse Lingard.

"It's a diary against Paul, he's a very good professional, he's never had a problem, he has a heart of gold," Solskjaer said.

"Jesse and Paul walking yesterday were described as a fight between the two boys and I know you are here to sell newspapers and stories, but they are all professionals."
