German Chancellor Angela Merkel insisted that she was going "very well", while she was undergoing her third earthquake in less than a month on Wednesday.
Merkel began to shake involuntarily as the national anthems were played at a reception by Finnish Prime Minister Antti Rinne in Berlin.
An hour later, she attended the scheduled press conference. She told reporters that her condition was not a cause for concern.
"I feel very good, there is nothing to worry about," she said. Merkel will be 65 next week.
A source close to the government said that the cause of this new shake was now of psychological order, with memories of the first incident causing a resurgence of tremor during events taking place in similar contexts.
The tremors on Wednesday were less severe than during the first episode of June.
On this occasion, Merkel seemed unstable and was shaking as she stood in the midday sun alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Dehydration was the cause of this first earthquake, but a second episode occurred a week later, in late June, a few hours before the German Chancellor boarded a plane for the G20 summit in Japan.
The officials then sought to minimize health concerns by saying that Merkel was doing well and that she would not cancel any planned commitments.
