Kwame Obeng Asare, aka A Plus, a strong supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is of the opinion that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is surrounded by vampires, demons and criminals.
He wondered why the president whom he considered clean had drawn the attention of all these people to his international reputation.
In a Facebook post seen by Ghanacrusader.com, he described Akufo-Addo as a noble man, but soon asked the question: "I trust you. You are a diplomat and a very noble man. But please, let me ask you. Where did you find all these vampires awiem atumfoɔ, sabrabonsam, kayirkayirbombom, evil, satan people around you?
Plus's post was in direct reaction to the president's statement that he had not been elected to deceive the Ghanaians, reiterating his commitment to keeping all the promises made to Ghanaians.
Addressing members of the Ghanaian community residing in France on Monday, July 8 as part of his official visit to that country, he said that during the last two and a half years of his term, his government had held a considerable number of promises.
"We have had two-and-a-half years in office for four years and I continue to insist that Ghanaians, by the end of my term, will see that I have come to tell them the truth about what I wanted to do. I did not come to deceive anyone, "said the president.
He continued, "I know my opponents will say something else, but that's their right. God willing, December 7, 2020, day of responsibility, we will know who is telling the truth.
