Yesterday, all eyes were on the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Susbad after being seen watching their husband play polo. Kate arrived with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, while Meghan was accompanied by the newborn Archie. It was the most public manifestation of affection between the two sisters-in-law and the royal children, which prompted the royal fans to say that the quarrel between them might have ended.
Speculation that the two men were in conflict began when, in November 2018, it was announced that the Duke and Duchess of Susbad were leaving Kensington Palace.
Shortly after this announcement, Royal Correspondent Camilla Tominey told two sources that "Kate had been left in tears" by Meghan as a result of an argument over the maid's dress of honor. Princess Charlotte before the royal wedding in May.
According to reports uncovered, there may have been tension between the two duchesses from the beginning because of Meghan. In January 2017, Meghan would have met Kate for the first time and, as the Duchess of Cambridge had just celebrated a birthday, the former Hollywood actress had decided not to greet her empty handed.
Meghan would have gifted Kate with a leather dream diary.
Authors Josh Duboff and Julie Miller of Vanity Fair, in their podcast "In the Limelight" in 2017, thought the gift was rather dubious, as it looked like something Meghan would buy for herself.
The Duchess of Susbad used to fill her Instagram thread with aphorisms and described herself as a "lover of handwritten notes".
Royal correspondent Polly Hudson was even more disdainful of the gift, saying it sounded like a treat "but it's actually work."
Ms. Hudson added, "The only way [the gift] could be more boring if it were to document other people's dreams, because nothing on Earth is more boring than them. "
Royal commentator Martha Ross also commented on the newspaper: "Markle seems to badume that Middleton wants to better understand his emotions, his stress, his victories and his mental well-being.
"But what if Middleton is not a type of homemaker, maybe she is in life as she is, and why would any of us think- he the opposite?
"She is married to a man who clearly adores her and he will one day be King of England." She also has two adorable children, beautiful clothes and a beautiful hairstyle, and lives in a palace.
"What is she dreaming of, what is stressing?"
