Ghana's Black Stars have returned to Accra after their elimination from the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Tunisian Eagles of Carthage have cushioned the Black Stars' dream of winning their fifth African Cup trophy.
The Ghana contingent landed Thursday at Kotoka International Airport at 3:15.
All members of the technical team led by coach Kwasi have come with the team.
Only 15 of the 23 players returned to Accra, the remaining 8 returning to their respective places in Europe.
The list of players who arrived in Accra was;
Richard Ofori, Felix Annan, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Joseph Attamah, Samuel Owusu, Kwabena Owusu, Afriyie Acquah, John Boye, Dede Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Kwadwo Asamoah, Asamoah Gyan, Mubarak Wakaso, Baba Rahman, and Lumor Agbenyenu.
Ghana lost 4-5 on penalties against Tunisia on Monday (June 8th) at the Ismailia Stadium in Egypt after a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
This is the first time the Stars have failed to enter the last four games after giving up the group stages in Egypt 2006.
