Hulu Launches New Live TV Guide and Reintroduces 4K Streaming

The live guide works like a traditional TV guide, displaying the hours and duration of programming available on Hulu + Live TV. The Live TV service allows users to stream channels such as ABC, Fox, NBC and CNN over the Internet as part of their Hulu package.

To access the Live TV Guide while watching Hulu, hover over the three-line icon in the lower left corner of the player bar. This will show live broadcasts by channel and time and can be filtered by categories such as sports, movies, news or children.

Another feature of Hulu is also available this week: 4K streaming is back on Apple TV and fifth generation Chromecast Ultra or later. 4K streaming was previously available for a small selection of Hulu shows, but abandoned last year.

Now, 4K is back, but only for Hulu Originals programs (like The servant's tale, prostitutes and Catch-22). The company has announced plans to expand its ultra-high definition content library in the future.
