Effah Darteh, from the NPP, describes Mahama as a joker

Captain Nkrabea Effah Darteh (rtd), a lawyer and politician, described former President John Mahama as a joker.

According to him, Mahama is a bad choice regarding the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In an interview with Okay FM, Effah Darteh added that the former president is simply wasting his time and that, as a result, the NDC should prepare for a new term.

He explained that neither the New Patriotic Party (NPP) nor the NDC would be in power forever, and as such, the NDC should find another candidate capable of empowering them.

According to a report published by peacefmonline.com, he expressed optimism about the NPP's chances of victory for a new mandate in 2020.

The retired member's comments follow the protest on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
