Man Utd raises price requested by Paul Pogba to warn Mino Raiola

Manchester United will carry Paul Pogba's price tag at £ 180 million if the midfielder and his agent Mino Raiola continue to strive to get away from Old Trafford, reports said.

The winner of the World Cup has made it clear that he wants a "new challenge", while Raiola has criticized United for handling the midfield situation.

Earlier this week, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer publicly warned Pogba that United would not be forced to sell it this summer, despite the interest shown by Real Madrid and Juventus.

And according to MailOnline, United supports Solskjaer's position by increasing the valuation of Pogba and making it difficult for the French international to leave.

United spent £ 89m to sign Pogba again from Juventus and was initially open to a £ 150m bid before Raiol and Pogba put the pressure on it.

Pogba is currently in Australia with the United team for their pre-season tour and is expected to play his first match against Perth Glory on Saturday.

Despite his desire to leave United, Solskjaer is adamant that Pogba's coaching behavior has been positive.

"Paul never left the team, he always wanted to play, he always gave the best of himself," said Solskjaer this week.

"The agents are talking all the time and we have not received any offers from clubs.
