Two months and a day after Manchester United completed its 2018/19 campaign with a complaint against Cardiff City, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team is back to prepare for the new season.
Solskjaer has not been quiet either, with the incoming transfers and the potential expenses that occupy United. Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have arrived, while Romelu Lukaku and Paul Pogba are linked to the relocation of Old Trafford.
Solskjaer said he wants to sign more before the first match of the Premier League against Chelsea. His selection against Perth will most likely reflect the need for his players to improve their physical condition.
In addition to the two new recruits, Solskjaer will also be able to call on youngsters Mason Greenwood, Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes and James Garner, who have all joined the Australian team.

Mason Greenwood could be about to begin his breakthrough season and the prospect of him, Marcus Rashford and Daniel James in a three British front would generate some early excitement.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka only started training this week. Diogo Dalot is the best choice. If Eric Bailly is in match form, then he should go alongside Victor Lindelof. Luke Shaw ended the training Thursday morning but, if so, is the only left-back specialist.
A trio of academics composed of James Garner, Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay would be very popular.

Solskjaer has a strong team at his disposal for the first pre-season game and he should use it during the opening match against Perth Glory.
Although many young people are willing to have a chance in the coming weeks, it will probably be on the starting bench, as the Norwegian is looking to make sure the tour starts well with a win.
Tuanzebe should start at the back, but it may be too early for Wan-Bissaka to be reinstated as a result of a busy summer devoted to the homework of international youth.
Garner and Gomes both have a business to start with, but they will certainly be on the bench, while a debut for Daniel James would give a new impetus to the spirit. The Welsh international teamed up Thursday in Chong for training Thursday and could be inspired by starting this weekend.

Whether it's starting out or being named on the bench, all eyes will be on Paul Pogba in Perth while United's midfielder wants to leave the club. United wants to keep his best player, so Solskjaer should prepare as if Pogba would be a key part of the team this season. It means starting it.
The friendly match is perhaps United's easiest match of his pre-season schedule, so Solskjaer has a good chance to present his two new recruits without too much pressure. Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka should start, as well as a number of young people.
Axel Tuanzebe and Angel Gomes have room to start, while James Garner, Tahith Chong and Mason Greenwood deserve to be exhausted.
