Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban posed with his Italian friend Fappani Alice on vacation after the Black Stars' exit from the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ekuban became the talk of the city when his low penalty saved by Tunisian goalkeeper Ben Mustapha in the round of 16.
The Black Stars were eliminated from the competition after a 1-1 draw against Tunisians in Carthage after 120 minutes of action.
In the penalty shoot-out, the Leeds United striker was the only player to miss the game as the North Africans defeated the Black Stars 5-4.
Ekuban seemed to have overcome his team's failure to annex the Africa Cup of Nations this year while he was posing with a broad smile.
The two men were photographed while riding in the sun.
The 25-year-old was loaned to Turkish side Trabzonspor last year, scoring 5 times in 23 games to help him qualify for the Europa League after finishing 4th in the standings.
He is strongly linked to a final return to the club after Marcelo Bielsa, Leeds United coach, made it clear that he was not in his plans for the next campaign.
