The regional president of the new Ashanti Patriotic Party congratulated President Akufo-Addo for becoming the best president of Africa.

Ghana's President, Nana Akufo-Addo, has been named Africa's Best President by a Canadian-based research organization, "The Leaders of Tomorrow". The last feat conferred on him was realized after a ballot.

Commenting on the feat, Bernard Antwi-Boasiako said he was never surprised to hear and read reports that President Akufo-Addo was exalted as the best president of Africa. According to him, the scripture in Exodus 14:14 states that "The Lord will fight for you, you only have to stand still" best describes God's plan and makes it to the President Akufo-Addo.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Ashanti Regional President, known as President Wontumi, said that President Akufo-Addo was doing his best in governance and could easily link his success to great footballers such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi hungry for success on the football field.

"Just to inform the world about President Akufo-Addo, it's like a combination of Messi and Ronaldo. He never sleeps at work and always thirsts for success. He wants the best for Ghana and Africa in general. To be ranked as the best in Africa is a remarkable achievement and I want to thank God for helping him accomplish this feat, "he said.

Releasing the list of the best and most outstanding presidents of 2018 in Africa, the Ghanaian president, Akufo-Addo, has topped the list.

This follows a similar study conducted by the US think tank World Vision Forum, which ranked President Akufo-Addo as the top African country and third among the best visionary presidents.

Canada's Future Leaders research team believes that since Nana Akufo-Addo won the 2016 elections, he is a man of the people with a high approval rate because of his positive policies such as free of Food and Jobs, District 1 Dam, NAPCO, among others.

In addition, his commitment to the development of Ghana, the near-absence of allegations of corruption under his regime and the respect of the rule of law by his government are among the reasons attributable to his victory.
