The families of the three abducted girls in Takoradi asked the police to investigate the police officer who allegedly helped the first suspect in the abduction case from the Takoradi police cells.

It is recalled that the first alleged Nigerian kidnapper, Samuel Udoetuk Wills, imprisoned for escaping from police cells, revealed during one of the judicial proceedings that he had been helped by a policeman to escape.

At a joint press conference held in Takoradi yesterday, family members claimed that after the incarceration of Samuel Wills for escaping from his legal custody, Nigerian no Had not heard of this allegation. They added that they later learned that two policemen had since been transferred from the Takoradi Police Division.

"We are so desperate to hear from our girls and their fate," they said, adding that the government's deep silence on the issue was worrisome.

Michael Koranchie, brother of one of the girls, Priscilla Koranchie, said it was time for the Ghana police and some government officials to stop raising their hopes for the missing girls and ignore them afterwards. "They should also stop the false information they gave you to the media about the case," he added.

According to him, more than a month had elapsed since the arrest of the second suspect, John Oji, who had not yet received any information from the police.

"The first suspect, Samuel Wills, testified in court that the second suspect, John Oji, knew where our daughters were, and if he (Oji) found him, he could show where the girls were," he said. he declared.
