Ghana Post Company Limited has received two awards at this year's Ghana Shippers Awards.
The company has been recognized for its excellence in innovation and for its outstanding contribution to the country's shipping industry.
Ghana Shippers Awards is a program rewarding the achievements of local and international companies as well as the contributions of individual actors in the fields of road transport, maritime carriers, air transport, freight forwarders, shipping agents, courier services, courier, insurance and financing services.
In all, 53 awards were given to various institutions and deserving individuals at the event.
Ghana Post has leveraged technologies such as tracking system, central badessment center, digital address transmission and short code payment for the mail processing system to increase efficiency.
