Trump hangs pictures of himself and Kim Jong-un at the White House – next to the Queen's picture

Many people like to show off their new photographs when they go home after a trip abroad, and Donald Trump is no different.

Visitors to the White House noticed a handful of photographs hanging on the walls, showing the president in action abroad.

People also commented on the intriguing juxtaposition; the president with the North Korean dictator at the DMZ, next to one of him with the queen during his state visit to Britain last month

Kim Jong-un is one of the new photos hanging on the walls of the West Wing today, tweeted Jennifer Jacobs, a White House journalist for Bloomberg News, posting an image of the new photographs.

The photographs show Mr. Trump inspecting the demilitarized zone (DMZ) separating North Korea and South Korea; one of his steps inside North Korea with Kim Jong-a and the other participant in events marking the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy.

The fourth picture shows Mr. Trump and the first lady, Melania Trump, standing beside the Queen and Prince Charles, standing and applauding.

Ms. Jacobs' tweet suggested that the photographs mounted on the White House wall contained no legend.

However, we know what the President feels about many people with whom he is photographed. Although he recently attacked the British prime minister and his approach to Brexit, he praised the head of state.

"The good news for the wonderful UK is that they will soon have a new Prime Minister," he tweeted earlier this month, in the aftermath of a controversy over diplomatic cables.

"Even though I really enjoyed the magnificent state visit last month, it's the queen that has impressed me the most."

People also noted that the president was often thrown on the North Korean leader, referring to "beautiful letters" that he had received from Pyongyang.
