That's what Google admitted in a blog entry after the leak of Danish voice recordings.
The Belgian broadcaster VRT NWS received more than 1,000 registrations, some of which involved sensitive personal conversations. With some information, people could also be identified, in some cases the addresses had to be audible. Some of the conversations were in the background where the badistant felt mistakenly addressed.
According to Google, the records do not include any user account information. The recordings would only be used to better understand speech patterns and accents.
In addition, Amazon had confirmed that the records were intercepted by Alexa.
