Juve has published a series of photos and videos on its official Twitter account showing De Ligt arriving for his medical exam.
He scored against Juventus while the Dutch, 34-time champion, beat his chances of qualifying for the Champions League final and will become the youngest player to play a European final after Ajax's defeat against Manchester United in Europa League.
De Ligt is taking over from her former Ajax teammate, Frenkie De Jong – who signed in Barcelona earlier this year – another youth club product sold to one of Europe's top clubs.
He joins the Italian champion under the direction of Maurizio Sarri, who has just moved to Juventus after a season in Chelsea, alongside experienced defenders Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci.
