Talking on the red carpet during In the world premiere of the film, Statham explained how his characters and those of Johnson – Deckard Shaw and Luke Hobbs – display a whole series of fight scenes with villains (and others) on the screen.

He explained: "A good part of this movie did not make the movie, so noted X. We have to cut, cut, cut out all the good things and save them for the DVD.
"I guess censorship sometimes hinders entertainment."
