Danny Williams and Jourdan Raine of Love Island confirmed that they were now officially friends.

The couple, who were recently eliminated from the ITV series, had to face Caroline Flack for Aftersun as he was afraid to put a tag on their story.

However, just days later, they announced that they would become an important element in an interview with Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp and Vick Hope.

Questioning both of their position, Roman asked, "Have you dropped the question of girlfriend / boyfriend?"

Jourdan teased: "Potentially …"

Danny then confirmed, "Yes, it's official," and the two happy players were congratulated live.

This comes after the pair has faced mbad speculation "showmance" after Danny's actions in the villa – ranging from Yewande Biala to Arabella Chi in Jourdan without more than a few days between each suitor.
