Wayne Rooney thinks Jurgen Klopp has made only one mistake in his career: managing Liverpool.
The former Manchester United striker and Everton, who currently practices his trade at DC United in MLS, praised the German boss – but made it clear that he would prefer that Klopp do not be responsible for the Reds.
The former Rooney clubs are fierce rivals of Liverpool and the leader 's allegiances clearly could not be further away from Anfield.
Klopp guided his team to victory in the Champions League last season, while achieving a sensational race in the Premier League, finishing 97 points and just missing the title.

He probably hopes his team will be better in the national competition while preserving his title in the European Cup.
Liverpool is gearing up for the upcoming campaign by traveling to the United States for pre-season matches against Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting CP.

"Jurgen is a manager for which every player would like to play," Rooney told Sport Bild.
"You can see how much his players have a lot of fun playing under him, I've met him once, he's an amazing guy."
