The leaders of the National Democratic Congress (NEC) of the Central Region's Ajumako-Enyan-Esiam constituency have denied the intention to call the outgoing MP from the region, Cbadiel Ato Forson, to challenge the next CND. Parliamentary primaries without opposition.

A member of the injured party, Kofi Nyamekye Waduudu, allegedly protested, seeking to suggest that he was denied an application form to challenge the next parliamentary primaries and that his leaders had deliberately decided to deprive him of the Application form for the holder to go unopposed.

But in a statement signed jointly by his communications officer, Galahad Alex Andoh; Rexford Mensah, deputy communications officer and party leader in his constituency, said that while recognizing Mr. Ato Forson's performance, he still felt it was necessary to submit an application form to any qualified aspirant, in accordance with the guidelines of the primary.

According to the statement, Mr. Nyamekye Waduudu was denied the forms on the grounds that at the time of receipt of his letter of intent, two days before the opening of the candidacy, no one did not know him as a member of the party.
