Innsbruck – Just in time for World Emoji Day on July 17th, Apple has presented a preview of the new emojis that will be released this fall for the new version of iOS. In total, users of WhatsApp, Facebook and Co. will be able to integrate about 65 new images into their discussions starting this fall. The new emojis, which focus on people with physical disabilities, are also new. A guide dog, a person with a cane, robotic limbs and wheelchair users can be found in the catalog of colorful pictures.
Also on the new operating system of Google Android Android Q, due out in September 2019, the new emoticons will be available. Incidentally, emojis are managed and published by the so-called Unicode consortium, which has already published a list of 230 motives for this year in February.
