The study revealed that the UK's immigration system was "biased, even discriminatory" against Africans and that it was "not fit for purpose".
It presents many challenges, including the need to travel long distances to apply for a visa, financial discrimination and the lack of right of appeal, the report said.
"At a time when the UK needs to be" open to business, "the broken visa system is severely undermining UK-Africa relations in various sectors," said Chi Onwurah MP , President of APPG for Africa.
"It's embarrbading, condescending and insulting to African candidates and leaves the slogan of 'Global Britain' empty and meaningless," she added.
