People have discovered that eyelash curlers can squeeze blackheads – a skin care expert has concerns

Nobody wants to have blackheads and these irritating clogged pores can ruin the most perfect complexion.

However, a skin care expert warned that it was not wise to use an eyelash curler.

A Youtube channel called "5 Minute Crafts MEN" has released a video that shows a man using an eyelash curler to pinch the white pus of blackheads on his nose. The hungry among you may want to look away!

Simone Shoffman, Head of UK Training for Therapy The clinic, warned that the use of the beauty tool will only damage your skin.

She told Pretty 52: "This can certainly cause a lot of trauma to the skin.This can cause broken capillaries by squeezing the nose because it is a very thin skin area.

"You can potentially push any congestion further into the skin, giving you more congestion or potentially a nodular cyst."

The tool can leave marks on the nose area for long periods and even cause scarring.

Shoffman also warns that "spider veins" and "broken capillaries" could be a consequence of using curlers for eyelashes to eliminate blackheads, which will require laser treatment later to repair the damage.

Commenting on the video, Shoffman said, "It would not work like that in real life, they had to be really cowardly to get out like that, when most people should have put some kind of natural acid on the skin to break the congestion ".

The skin specialist recommends rather regular, professional facials and the use of a good exfoliator. As for the elimination of blackheads, let eyelash curlers in peace!
