Wa, July 18, GNA – Dr. Hafiz Bin-Salih, the
Regional Minister of the Upper West, said that Ghana had lost about $ 12 million in
2018 to smuggle fertilizer to neighboring countries and called for safety
agencies to enhance security to prevent smuggling activities.
He said a lot of Planting for food and
Jobs-subsidized fertilizer (PFJ) for Ghanaian farmers smuggled

major trading currencies around the world.
